Privacy for the beta
Data we process
Signing up uses the existing Nhost authentication system: email, password authentication, account identifier and display name. Do not send identity documents to the beta. Setting up a sanctuary can save your chosen nickname, selected fictional realm, social intention and up to 280 characters of introduction. You can save notes that remain private drafts. An 18+ date-of-birth entry is checked when attesting; the date itself is not stored in the new realm profile table, but the time of your attestation is stored. Your account provider may retain separate signup metadata.
Who can see it?
During this preview, your new profile and drafts are returned only to your authenticated account through a server-verified API. No user discovery endpoint or public feed is enabled. The site uses a local browser setting to remember your demo discoveries and room theme. Browser tokens are shared with the existing Silks & Glory account login, and should only be used on trusted devices.
Infrastructure and processing
The site is hosted through Vercel and account/database functions use Nhost and Hasura. Relevant network and operational logs may be processed by these services according to their terms and configurations. The legacy site has separate store/payment data; this beta does not use your wallet or charge for its demo features. We do not sell your new profile information to advertisers.
Safety and retention
Profile and private drafts are kept until you or the operator remove them. We have not yet built self-service deletion/export tools for the beta. You may request access, correction, or deletion at the support address; some data may be retained where legally required. Age attestation does not establish verified identity.
International visitors
This is a limited beta and not a claim of compliance with every local jurisdiction. Before a worldwide social launch, we need a legal basis, country-specific age rules, user rights procedures, and a retention/deletion policy reviewed for relevant privacy laws.
