Privacy Policy

Silks & Glory uses account systems to support email verification, password recovery, player authentication, wallet display, web store delivery, giveaway administration, and future game services. The website does not intentionally collect unnecessary personal data.

Information used

The game and website may use email addresses, account identifiers, verification status, display name, password reset tokens, support messages, wallet balances, order references, payment status records, giveaway confirmations, official entry numbers, and audit records to operate account, purchase and giveaway flows.

Giveaway platform verification

When a participant connects Steam or Discord for the giveaway, Silks & Glory stores the linked platform account identifier, limited public profile information needed for display or audit, verification status, and the time of the most recent check. Discord OAuth is used to confirm the participant’s Discord identity. The Silks & Glory bot then checks membership in the official server and assigns or removes the Giveaway Verified role according to server-side website eligibility. OAuth access tokens are used server-side for the connection process and are not placed in public website files.

Payment information

PayPal payment details are handled by PayPal. Future payment providers may be added only after approval and technical review. Silks & Glory does not store full card numbers or PayPal passwords in public website files.

Third-party services

The project currently uses services such as Nhost, Hasura, PostgreSQL, Vercel, Resend, PayPal, Steam, Discord, and Patreon to operate hosting, authentication, payment, community, giveaway, and email workflows.

No public secrets

Public website files should not contain admin secrets, private keys, database passwords, bot tokens, OAuth client secrets, or protected access tokens. Sensitive operations are handled server-side through environment variables.
